Assign Claim

If you are a new client, please refer to our file handling process and billing guidelines prior to submitting an assignment. To assign a claim, please contact our office or complete the assignment submission form below.

Our File Handling Process

  • Acknowledge receipt of assignment on same business day
  • Attempt contact with involved parties on same business day
  • Most inspections are conducted by the following business day
  • All inspections are conducted within 72 hours, provided mutual availability of parties
  • Same day rush inspections are available upon request and adjuster availability
  • Suggested reserves and coverage issues are submitted after inspection
  • Address subrogation potential or determination of liability
  • Prepare Xactimate ACV/RCV estimate and determine loss valuation for each coverage
  • Secure agreed cost with insured/claimant and/or their contractor upon request
  • Submission of report within 7 days, or per your specified guidelines
  • File revisions and future claim handling provided per your instructions

Billing

  • Assignments are billed at competitive hourly rates plus mileage expenses based on current IRS Standard Business Mileage rates
  • Copies of court records, weather, fire, police and other reports or documents are billed at actual cost
  • Time and mileage expenses are prorated with other inspections when possible
